Their carpets, rugs, bathroom floor mats and entrance mats still seem to be made in the UK. Trade and their public brands are Rug Guru (made in India and the UK – you’ll have to ask if what you are interested in is made in the UK); Hug Rug (made in England rugs / mats – made in England door mats, runners and half-moon mats, entrance and garden mats, pet mats and bathroom mats); Big Hug (bean bags for indoors and bean bags for outdoor use, outdoor rugs, door stops, cushion pads, pet bean bags and fleece pet blankets). Made Closer is a useful website. Turn on their only made in the UK button to get only UK made items and you can even narrow down by region. The concept behind the website is presumably sustainability by reducing your carbon footprint through reducing the miles goods are transported by buying locally made products. Fab. Prices include delivery to the UK mainland. I have found many great UK made products for sale on this great site. An interesting site selling UK made products 🙂
